10th Annual INSIGHT AWARDS Program
UBM TechInsights proudly introduces the 10th Annual INSIGHT AWARDS. Since its inception over a decade ago, the INSIGHT AWARDS has become one of the most recognized awards for appreciating and celebrating the contributions, technical achievements and innovations made by the many companies that comprise the semiconductor industry. This year the INSIGHT AWARDS will feature a number of returning categories plus some new categories that will recognize the ever-changing landscape of the semiconductor industry and the electronics industry that it drives. The initial categories we are announcing include: Most Innovative Process, Most Innovative DRAM, Most Innovative Flash Memory and Most Innovative Mobile Processor. Awards will be staggered throughout the year to better align with industry cycles, the first category we plan to announce is the Most Innovative Mobile Processor in the early fall of 2010. Additional categories will be announced throughout the year beginning in August 2010 and wrapping up in July 2011. Winners will be given a unique opportunity to showcase their accomplishments to the rest of the technology community through the analysis efforts of UBM TechInsights.
About the Nomination & Decision Process
The program sponsors will nominate devices in each category. Manufacturers are also encouraged to submit nominations; however, the award selection committee reserves the right to approve all manufacturer-submitted nominations. There is no cost to participate in the program. To preserve the integrity and objectivity of the INSIGHT AWARDS, UBM TechInsights complete relevant analysis on the nominated device for it to qualify as a finalist. The award selection committee consists of following representatives from UBM TechInsights: Edward Keyes, Chief Technology Officer; David Carey, Vice President, Technical Intelligence; Bill Farmilo, Vice President, Operations and a group of Senior Analysts from UBM TechInsights. Every effort is made to interview all finalists to ensure accurate interpretation and representation of the submission.
