A Key Feature Analysis of the National Semiconductor LMV243 Single Channel Quad-Band GSM Power Controller
The TechInsights Design Analysis of the National LMV243 power controller contains circuitry for an RF detector, error amplifier and current source, ramp V/I converter, output driver, and biasing and reference voltage generator. The RF input signal from the RF power amplifier is fed to the RF detector. The output of the detector drives the output driver, which is configured as an integrator, and the current source. Finally the output of the integrator drives the gain control input of the RF power amplifier to complete the loop. Schematics of these circuit blocks are found within the report.
